And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bradley Nowell!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Garrido with that takedown attempt.
Nowell tries to clinch there but Garrido circles away.
Garrido fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nowell avoids it really well and circles away.

Garrido shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nowell napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Nowell is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Garrido asserts his dominance and retains side control.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Garrido connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Nowell some visible discomfort.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nowell throws a right hand that Garrido ducks under and follows up with a left that Garrido also avoids with ease.
Garrido is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Nowell can do to turn this around?

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nowell lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Garrido has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Garrido and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Nowell stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nowell wants it to stay on the feet.

Garrido fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Nowell misses with a head kick.
Nowell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Garrido manages to avoid it.

Nowell pivots, looking for a leg kick but Garrido is out of range and Nowell settles back down.
Garrido looks for a takedown but Nowell sprawls well.
Nowell connects with a right hand. Garrido shakes it off.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Nowell counters with a crisp one two that drops Garrido! Nowell thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Garrido to his feet! Garrido is in big trouble!

Nowell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Garrido circles away quickly and effectively.

Nowell throws a sloppy head kick and Garrido moves out of range easily.
Garrido changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nowell tries to avoid it but Garrido manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nowell to the ground. Nowell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Nowell tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Garrido paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nowell lets loose with a powerful body kick. Garrido will feel that in the morning.
