Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Thurgood Jenkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kangaroo Jack!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jack shoots in for a double leg but Jenkins sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jenkins throws a head kick that misses.
Jenkins fails with the takedown.
Jack scores with a head kick.
Jenkins tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jack stuffs the takedown attempt from Jenkins. Jenkins gets slowly back to his feet.
Nice sprawl there from Jenkins as Jack shoots in.
No luck for Jenkins with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thurgood Jenkins. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jenkins gets a clinch.

Jenkins breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Jenkins has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jenkins tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jack just stands there and leans against the cage.
Jack tries to pull guard but Jenkins won't allow it.
Jack unloads a knee to the mid-section. Jenkins lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Jenkins drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jack pulls his leg out and moves away.
A head kick by Jack misses
and Jenkins counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Jack is lucky that one didn't land flush.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Jenkins counters with a head kick that drops Jack - he's looking to finish, following his stunned foe to the ground!


Jack is rocked!
Jenkins is breathing heavily.
Jack trying to control but Jenkins postures up.
Jack is still in real trouble! Can Jenkins finish him?
Jenkins prevents Jack from improving his position.
Jack seems to have recovered his senses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jenkins throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jack is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jenkins's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jenkins's back!

Jenkins defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Jack's arms.
Jack is hanging on to Jenkins's back as he tries to escape.
Jack misses with punches from the back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jack working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Jenkins is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Jack has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Jenkins taps out!
