Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Layzie Assassin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walt Heisenberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Assassin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Thuggish Ruggish Bone. Layzie Assassin is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assassin keeps the fight on the outside.
Assassin misses with a wild body shot.
Assassin misses the shot to the body.
Heisenberg takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Heisenberg misses with a hook to the body
and Assassin counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Heisenberg's guard now.
Heisenberg is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Assassin passes into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Assassin throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Heisenberg blocking the ground and pound attempt from Assassin.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Heisenberg can do anything to dispel that myth.
Heisenberg trying to control but Assassin postures up.
Assassin wants to free his trapped foot but Heisenberg is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Assassin passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Heisenberg!
Assassin looking to ground and pound but Heisenberg is blocking nicely.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Heisenberg holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Assassin tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Heisenberg is squirming around, avoiding Assassin's attempts to control the action.
Assassin punching from mount but Heisenberg doing a good job of avoiding damage.

Assassin wants to pass the guard but Heisenberg is defending well.
Assassin thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Heisenberg's head.

Assassin not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Heisenberg wants to control but Assassin is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Assassin wants to work for an arm triangle but Heisenberg is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Assassin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Heisenberg is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Assassin moves nicely into side control.

Heisenberg is not content to let Assassin control the position.
Sloppy strikes there by Assassin.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Assassin throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Heisenberg really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Assassin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Assassin sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Heisenberg is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Assassin is trying to get an arm triangle but Heisenberg is defending well.
Heisenberg tries to improve position but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Layzie Assassin dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Heisenberg misses with a jab to the body
enabling Assassin to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Walt Heisenberg has been cut.
Heisenberg wants to clinch up but Assassin keeps it at a distance.
Heisenberg misses the body punch
and Assassin counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Heisenberg throws a sloppy body shot
and Assassin counters with a crisp one two that drops Heisenberg! Assassin thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Heisenberg to his feet! Heisenberg is in big trouble!
Heisenberg is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Heisenberg throws a sloppy body shot
and Assassin counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Assassin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Heisenberg was well out of range. Poor timing from Assassin.

Assassin lands a jab to Heisenberg's midsection.
Heisenberg is breathing heavily.
Assassin misses with a double jab.
Heisenberg misses with a right hand
and Assassin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Heisenberg's guard.
Assassin working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Assassin drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Heisenberg dives on top into guard.
Assassin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Heisenberg can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Assassin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Assassin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Heisenberg defends well.
Assassin tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Heisenberg seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Assassin is trying to keep Heisenberg in close.
Assassin looking for a guillotine here but Heisenberg defends easily.
Assassin wants to sweep here but Heisenberg controlling him for the moment.
Heisenberg with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Heisenberg trying to control the position from guard on top but Assassin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Assassin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Assassin is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Heisenberg is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
