Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elix Skipper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz comes to the cage accompanied by Been to Hell. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nick Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Elix Skipper! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skipper gets tackled into the cage by Diaz. Diaz maintains the clinch. Skipper manages to pull guard.
Skipper manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Skipper postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Diaz looks a forlorn figure.
Skipper raining down hammerfists from mount. Skipper looking to control but Diaz is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Skipper prevents Diaz from getting the reversal. Skipper avoids the attempt from Diaz to control. Diaz working to try and regain half guard.
Diaz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Skipper on the ground. Skipper tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skipper landing shots from mount. Skipper avoids the attempt from Diaz to control. Skipper looking for a guillotine from mount but Diaz is having none of it. Diaz tries to hold on but Skipper postures up. Skipper sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Diaz is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Skipper jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Diaz manages to avoid the submission attempt. Diaz tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Skipper works to advance to full mount. Diaz defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Skipper connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Skipper looking to control and managing it successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Skipper working Diaz over with strikes here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Skipper content just to control the position here. Diaz gets back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skipper prevents Diaz from improving his position. Skipper is controlling the pace.
Diaz is trying to control but Skipper manages to pass to mount!
Diaz tries to lock up and control but Skipper gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Skipper takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Skipper looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz tries to hold on but Skipper pushes him away. Skipper with a couple of short strikes. Skipper prevents Diaz from getting the reversal. Skipper controlling the position easily from mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Diaz is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Skipper has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Skipper takes Diaz's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Diaz is in trouble. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Elix Skipper dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Skipper wants to pass to mount but Diaz is defending the position. Skipper is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Diaz defends it well. Diaz gets full guard. Skipper controls from within his opponent's guard. Skipper loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skipper pushing down on Diaz's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Diaz is looking to control Skipper's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Diaz avoid being mounted? Diaz won't allow Skipper to pass to mount. Skipper with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diaz is looking for a sweep. Skipper is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Skipper tries to pass the half guard into mount. Diaz knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Diaz avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Skipper.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Skipper wants to pass to mount but Diaz is defending the position. Skipper is keen to just control but Diaz is a slippery customer. Diaz wants to improve his position but Skipper is controlling well.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Skipper with a body punch. A glancing blow. Diaz has Skipper up against the cage in a clinch.
Diaz drags the fight down to the ground.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Skipper is staying tight to Diaz's torso, preventing him from escaping. Diaz struggling a bit here. Diaz looking for a sweep but Skipper has passed into full mount! Oh no! Skipper controlling his opponent. Diaz is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Skipper has taken his back! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Skipper is punishing Diaz with some ground and pound. Skipper has his arm under Diaz's chin here. Game over son! Skipper squeezes tightly and Diaz is forced to tap out!
