Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Felix Sturm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jyrska Velmu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Velmu is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: UFO - Doctor Doctor. Felix Sturm could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jyrska Velmu's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velmu scores with a punch to the head.

and Sturm counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Velmu has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sturm is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Felix Sturm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jyrska Velmu.
Sturm tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Velmu has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Sturm should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Velmu has tightened it up now! Sturm should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
