Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fe Reti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tauno Taputtaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fe Reti has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Fe Reti! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tauno Taputtaja! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taputtaja will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Reti misses with a jab to the body
and Taputtaja counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Taputtaja thows a big elbow that misses. Reti seems keen to control Taputtaja's posture. Taputtaja looking to pass the guard. Taputtaja is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Reti is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Reti has escaped and now he's on top! Taputtaja wants to stand but Reti is controlling the position. Taputtaja has momentary wrist control but Reti slips an elbow through the middle. Reti seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Taputtaja wants to sweep here but Reti controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taputtaja keeping moving, preventing Reti from controlling successfully. Taputtaja looking for a guillotine here but Reti defends easily.
Reti knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Taputtaja on the ground. Taputtaja looking to control.
Taputtaja escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Reti gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Taputtaja is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Reti wants to pass the guard but Taputtaja is keeping the position. Reti scoring with punches to the head and body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reti trying to control the position from guard on top but Taputtaja is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Reti drops back, looking for a kneebar! Taputtaja looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Taputtaja looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Taputtaja! Taputtaja has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Taputtaja shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Reti counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Reti scoring with strikes to the body and head. Reti is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Reti seems to be looking for submissions.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Taputtaja looks gassed! Taputtaja looks like he's trying to stand up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Taputtaja is looking for a sweep. Reti is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Reti is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reti looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Taputtaja is refusing to be controlled, as Reti sits in half guard. Taputtaja wants to control but Reti is keeping busy and won't allow it. Taputtaja wants to improve his position but Reti is controlling well.
Reti content to control rather than advance. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Taputtaja tries to get to full guard but Reti has control of the leg. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fe Reti dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
A looping hook to the body misses from Reti. Taputtaja does a little dance to reset his feet. Taputtaja throws a head kick but Reti moves out of range.
Reti throws a lazy right hand but Taputtaja sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Reti misses the shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Taputtaja gets caught flat footed, as Reti shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Reti might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Taputtaja is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reti slips nicely into half guard. Taputtaja is looking to control Reti's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Taputtaja avoid being mounted? Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Reti working over Taputtaja with some ground and pound. Taputtaja looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Taputtaja wants to improve his position but Reti is controlling well.

Fe Reti overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Taputtaja has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Reti is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reti is nestled in close to Taputtaja, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Reti lands strikes from half guard. Reti works his way into side control. Taputtaja is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Reti is controlling him well. Reti is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Taputtaja has escaped the position, nice work there. Taputtaja is trying to get back to half guard. Taputtaja manages to work his way to half guard, despite Reti's best efforts. Taputtaja has hold of Reti's hands but Reti slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The fighters are battling for position here. Taputtaja manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Taputtaja is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reti is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Reti wants to control from the top but Taputtaja keeps moving. Taputtaja is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Taputtaja lands a nice shot to the body. Taputtaja jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Reti walks away with a smile on his face. Taputtaja gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Taputtaja swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Reti misses the shot to the body. Reti throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reti closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Taputtaja to the mat! Taputtaja manages to get full guard. Reti trying to control but Taputtaja is working from the bottom. Reti working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Taputtaja's head. Reti trying to control the position from guard on top but Taputtaja is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Reti preventing the sweep. Reti passes Taputtaja's left leg - he's now in half guard. Taputtaja is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Reti's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Reti's back! Taputtaja is trying to stick to Reti's back but Reti is turning into Taputtaja. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Taputtaja's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Reti. Taputtaja trying to control the position.

Fe Reti dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Reti is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Taputtaja kicks Reti off and gets back to his feet. Reti closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Taputtaja's guard. Reti makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Fe Reti is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Reti has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reti controls from within his opponent's guard. Reti seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Taputtaja for as long as he can get away with.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Fe Reti wasn't doing enough on the ground. Reti throws a body punch but Taputtaja moves out of range. Tauno Taputtaja has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reti gets the takedown into side control. Taputtaja tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Reti wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Taputtaja sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Taputtaja trying to control but Reti postures up.
Reti perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Taputtaja is trying to get back to full guard. Reti frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Reti tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Reti working Taputtaja over with strikes here. Taputtaja tries to get back to half guard but can't. Reti controlling the pace for now. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that's the end of the fight! Fe Reti showed his dominance in that final round. Well Reti has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
