And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Winston Howard and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz misses with a combination
and Blood counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cruz won't be happy with that.
Blood taking a breather here.
Cruz gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Blood controlling the position easily from mount.
Cruz really wants to buck Blood off and get back to his feet.

Blood tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Tiger Blood wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Blood shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Blood showed some decent athleticism there.

Cruz is trying to stand back up but Blood is controlling him
Blood is taking a breather. Cruz says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Cruz wants to get back to his feet.
Cruz looks gassed!
Tiger Blood has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Blood shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cruz napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Blood passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Cruz!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Cruz is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
We're going to have a standup here because Tiger Blood wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Blood throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cruz's waist but Cruz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Blood off to one side.
Cruz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tiger Blood dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Blood shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cruz sprawls well. Cruz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Blood gets slowly back to his feet.
Cruz throws a looping overhand right but Blood ducks down to avoid it.
Odelin Cruz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cruz swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Blood tries for a takedown but Cruz circles away easily
and Cruz counters with a stiff right hand.
Cruz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Blood fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tiger Blood. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Blood with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cruz to score with a decent uppercut.
Blood takes a jab right on the kisser.
A jab from Cruz misses.
Blood fails with the takedown
and Cruz connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Tiger Blood has been cut.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Blood shoots in but Cruz avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Blood tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Oooooh!!! Cruz has knocked Blood down with a huge combo! Cruz steps away and waves a wobbly Blood back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Blood is rocked!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big left from Cruz misses.
Blood gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Cruz gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Blood is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Odelin Cruz!
