Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Silent Bob! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joey Tribianne! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tribianne moves into the clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Bob. Tribianne pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bob with a poor takedown and Tribianne holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Bob has Tribianne pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Tribianne manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Tribianne pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bob shoots and misses and Tribianne counters into the clinch. Nicely done. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Silent Bob. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tribianne unloads a knee to the mid-section. Bob lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Bob wants a takedown.

Tribianne darts in and clinches Bob up against the cage. Bob has had enough of the clinch but Tribianne keeps him there for the moment. Tribianne pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Tribianne clinches with his opponent.

Tribianne clinches up with Bob and pushes him back against the cage. Tribianne breaks the clinch.
Bob looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Bob looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tribianne is looking to escape. Bob is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tribianne defends it well. Bob is looking for a kimura but Tribianne is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bob to get the leverage. Bob is looking for a kimura here.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Bob is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tribianne is just riding it out for now. Bob eventually gives up the hold.
