Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Flip Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shamrock has chosen Enter Sandman as his entrance music. Brock Shamrock will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Flip Marshall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brock Shamrock! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shamrock throws a poor cross that misses
so Marshall counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marshall is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Shamrock preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Marshall stands and throws Shamrock's legs to the side, diving into side control. Marshall is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Shamrock has escaped the position, nice work there. Shamrock prevents Marshall from moving into mount. Marshall is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Shamrock is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Marshall working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Marshall tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Marshall has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's one minute gone in the round. Marshall working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Shamrock wants to get back to his feet but Marshall is dominant here and he's now got Shamrock's back! Shamrock won't enjoy being in this position. Marshall looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Shamrock is tapping - it's over boys! Marshall picks up the submission victory!
