Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Calvin Cahoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hernandez has chosen Cocteau Twins - Song to the Siren as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Oscar Hernandez was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Oscar Hernandez!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cahoon closes the distance and clinches up with Hernandez, looking for a takedown. Cahoon pushes Hernandez against the cage but Hernandez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hernandez misses with a series of wild punches.
Cahoon gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hernandez counters with a nice uppercut.
Hernandez tries to clinch up.
Hernandez looks for a takedown but Cahoon sprawls well.
Hernandez defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cahoon.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Calvin Cahoon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cahoon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Cahoon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Calvin Cahoon has been cut.
Cahoon circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hernandez looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nice sprawl there from Hernandez as Cahoon shoots in.

and Hernandez counters with a crisp one two that drops Cahoon! Hernandez thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Cahoon to his feet! Cahoon is in big trouble!

Cahoon is breathing heavily.
Cahoon shoots in looking for a takedown. Hernandez tries to sprawl out of it but Cahoon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hernandez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hernandez connects with a combination that backs up Cahoon into the cage. Hernandez lands a flurry of punches that gets past Cahoon's guard. Cahoon is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Hernandez bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
