I think Mephistopheles might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to -. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones moves to clinch but Mephistopheles breaks away
and Mephistopheles counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jones closes the distance but Mephistopheles moves to the side
and Mephistopheles counters with a straight right hand.
Jones tries to clinch but Mephistopheles moves away
and Mephistopheles counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jones darts in trying to clinch
and Mephistopheles cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mephistopheles misses with a straight left.
Jones moves to clinch but Mephistopheles breaks away
and Mephistopheles counters with a straight right hand.
Jones tries to clinch
and Mephistopheles counters with a right hand to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Ryan Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mephistopheles lands with an uppercut that bounces Jones off the cage and back into rage.
Jones has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mephistopheles finds it's way round the side to connect with Jones's head.
Jones tries to clinch
and Mephistopheles counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Jones moves to clinch but Mephistopheles breaks away
and Mephistopheles counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Jones looks gassed!

Jones on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Mephistopheles scores with a crisp jab that stopped Jones in his tracks.
Jones moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Mephistopheles lands a glancing blow to the side of Jones's head.
Mephistopheles lands with a straight right. Jones didn't see that one coming.
Jones needs to keep his hands up - Mephistopheles had a free shot at his head there.
Jones is rocked!
Mephistopheles lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jones is still on wobbly legs! Can Mephistopheles finish him?
Mephistopheles punishes Jones's body with a nice straight punch.
Jones seems to have recovered his senses.
A jab from Mephistopheles does it's job there.
