The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Anthony Taglia and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoffman shoots in and bounces BoneBreaker off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Hoffman thows a big elbow that misses.
BoneBreaker escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hoffman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hoffman must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
BoneBreaker looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Hoffman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

BoneBreaker throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Hoffman escapes and throws BoneBreaker's legs to the side, diving into side control!
BoneBreaker tries to bench press Hoffman off him but Hoffman keeps the position.
Hoffman tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Hoffman wants to finish this one by submission but BoneBreaker is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hoffman.
BoneBreaker wants to control but Hoffman is having none of it.

Hoffman has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of BoneBreaker's face.

BoneBreaker manages to reverse the position and now he's in Hoffman's guard. Nice work there by BoneBreaker.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hoffman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
BoneBreaker looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hoffman has picked BoneBreaker up and slammed him! BoneBreaker can't keep hold of the triangle and Hoffman manages to pass to side control!

Hoffman wants to lay and pray for a moment but BoneBreaker keeps working.

Hoffman has hold of BoneBreaker's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and BoneBreaker manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
