Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamara misses with a few strikes there.
Cruz thows a body shot but no joy.
Kamara misses with a combination
and Cruz makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Kamara catches Cruz with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
A left and a right from Kamara both land. Nice combination.
Kamara misses with an uppercut
and Cruz counters by clinching up.
Kamara gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Kamara is looking to take a break and control but Cruz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Cruz has one foot on Kamara's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Cruz lands a leg kick that knocks Kamara off balance momentarily.
Kamara misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cruz connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kamara. Kamara circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Cruz on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Kamara swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Cruz counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kamara pushes Cruz off and scrambles back to his feet.
Nice defenses there by Cruz.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cruz closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kamara quickly recovers to half guard.
Cruz missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Kamara is pressing down on Cruz's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Kamara is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Cruz frees his head nicely. Oh but Kamara has switched to an armbar! Cruz is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
