Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lincoln Burrows!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Harry Cross!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cross walks into a left hand.
Cross throws an off balance right hand
and Burrows counters with a right hand to the body.
Burrows changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Cross throws a hook to the side of Burrows's head but Burrows sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Cross showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Burrows.
Burrows throws a right and a left that Cross avoids nicely.
Good exchange - Burrows coming out on top.
Burrows digs a good body shot into Cross's ribs.
Cross rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Burrows counters with a series of strikes. Cross will be more careful next time no doubt.
Burrows works over Cross's head and body with a nice combination.

Burrows ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cross moves away.
Cross moves forwards but Burrows connects with a nice, crisp jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Burrows counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Cross thinking.
Cross closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Cross misses with a right hand
and Burrows counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Cross misses with a hook
enabling Burrows to counter with a crisp jab.
Cross looks gassed!
Cross rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Burrows counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Burrows lands a nice shot to the body.
Burrows throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cross stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Burrows lands an overhand right.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cross ducks right into an uppercut from Burrows.
Burrows thuds his right hand into Cross's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Burrows catches Cross with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Cross is rocked!
Burrows lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Cross is looking to close the distance but Burrows sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Cross crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Cross is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Lincoln Burrows!
