The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie lands a two punch combo.

It looks like Jari Lehtonen has been cut.
Ricardo Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie dives in and grabs Lehtonen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lehtonen pushes down on Gracie's head and hops out.

Lehtonen gets a double leg takedown into Gracie's guard.
Lehtonen wants to get up but he can't break Gracie's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Lehtonen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Gracie working for a triangle but Lehtonen defends it easily.
Lehtonen won't allow Gracie to sweep him here.

Lehtonen stands up and waves to Gracie to follow him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gracie closes the distance but Lehtonen moves to the side

and Lehtonen counters with a single leg into guard. Gracie didn't expect that.

Lehtonen gets to his feet - Gracie follows without any prompting.
Gracie looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lehtonen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Gracie gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Lehtonen wants to stand but Gracie has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Gracie has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Lehtonen should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Gracie has tightened it up now! Lehtonen should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
