Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arty Deminish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Balboa comes into the arena with Eye Of The Tiger blaring out of the sound system. Michael Balboa has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Arty Deminish!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Lou da Vinci and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Deminish throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Balboa counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Balboa throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A jab from Balboa misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Deminish throws a head kick that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Deminish closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Deminish misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Deminish working the strikes but Balboa uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Deminish thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Balboa's head.
Deminish is nestled in close to Balboa, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Deminish accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Deminish is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Deminish postures up in Balboa's guard and throws a big left but Balboa blocks it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Deminish throws a strike but Balboa rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Deminish lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Balboa!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Deminish tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Balboa is able to avoid easily.

Deminish uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Balboa.

Deminish throws out a leg kick but Balboa moves out of range and Deminish only half commits.

Balboa throws out a loose jab but Deminish uses good head movement to avoid it.

Deminish lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Deminish connects with a couple of short punches.
Deminish throws a strike but Balboa rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Balboa slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Deminish.

Balboa wants to stand up but Deminish is controlling the position.
Deminish is trying to maintain the position but Balboa is very close to passing his half guard.
Deminish tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Balboa has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Deminish is desperately trying to improve his position but Balboa has a good base and remains in mount.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Deminish regains half guard.
Deminish wants to improve his position but Balboa is controlling well.
And that's the end of the fight!
Arty Deminish comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Deminish has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
