Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Wall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Payne has chosen Batman Theme as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jonathan Paton and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payne fails to land the takedown.
Wall misses with a combination
and Payne holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Payne fails to pull guard.
Wall has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Wall's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Payne shoots in for a double leg but Wall sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jason Wall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Payne.
Payne swinging wildly here.
Wall works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Wall throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wall pushes Payne off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Payne shoots in looking for a takedown but Wall manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Payne's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Wall wants to clinch but Payne slips to the side
and Payne counters with a nice low kick that buckles Wall's knee momentarily.

Payne avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Payne throws a shot from downtown. Wall moves away and avoids it.

and Payne counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Payne stops Wall from standing up.
Wall pushes Payne off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Wall has taken the fight to the clinch.
Wall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Payne avoids a punch combination nicely.
Payne is looking to clinch but Wall is avoiding it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wall throws a right and a left that Payne avoids nicely.
Wall gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Payne to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Payne postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Payne is working Wall over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Wall swats away the attempt to clinch by Payne.
Payne fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Payne shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wall pinned against the cage. Wall gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Payne slips under a jab from Wall.
Wall uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Payne.
Payne drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wall is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Wall breaks from the clinch.

Payne fails with the takedown.
Payne circles away from the clinch attempt
and Payne holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Wall escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Payne lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wall circles away quickly and effectively.
Wall darts in trying to clinch
and Payne counters with a stiff right hand.
Payne misses with a takedown attempt - Wall sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Wall tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Payne closes the distance and clinches up with Wall, looking for a takedown. Payne pushes Wall against the cage but Wall circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wall rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Payne holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Wall slips a jab and a cross from Payne.

and Payne counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Wall's guard now.
Payne stands up from Wall's guard - Payne perhaps looking for a knockout.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Payne shoots in and drives through. Wall sprawls well.
Wall moves to clinch but Payne breaks away
and Payne counters with a low kick, right behind Wall 's knee.
Wall connects with a body shot that sends Payne's belly button to the back.
Wall misses with a body shot.
Payne moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Payne drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wall throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Wall pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Payne is trying to drag Wall to the mat but Wall just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Payne tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Wall smiles and moves away.

Payne ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Payne closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wall quickly recovers to half guard.
Payne prevents Wall from standing back up.
Wall has one foot on Payne's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Wall takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Payne wants to clinch.
Payne misses with a few strikes there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Payne doesn't manage to clinch there - Wall circles away.
Payne has Wall up against the cage in a clinch.
Wall tries to break free but Payne pushes him back against the cage.
Payne is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Wall pulls him back up using the underhooks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruce Payne showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Payne shoots in looking for a takedown. Wall tries to sprawl out of it but Payne keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wall manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Wall is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

and Payne decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wall's guard.
Payne passes Wall's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Payne is trying to control the action in half guard but Wall is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Payne stops Wall from getting back to his feet.
Payne is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Wall has managed to free his arm - good work.
Payne seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Wall is trying to stand back up but Payne is controlling him
Bruce Payne has got the better of the ground game so far.
Wall avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Payne.
Wall is looking to get back to is feet but Payne passes into side control.

Wall really wants to buck Payne off and get back to his feet.
Payne lands a big shot there that rocks Wall but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Payne fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Wall is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Payne looking to control and managing it successfully.
Wall trying desperately to get to his feet.
BOOM! Payne connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Payne can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wall is looking to escape.
Payne looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

You get the feeling that Wall really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Wall is squirming around, avoiding Payne's attempts to control the action.
Wall is trying to stand up.
Wall trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Payne wants to control the pace but Wall is squirming around nicely.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Payne cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Wall is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Payne lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Jason Wall has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Bruce Payne is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Payne blocks Wall's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight!
Bruce Payne comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Payne winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
