The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill loads up on a big right hand but Kawaguchi slips the punch.
Kawaguchi throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hill counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kawaguchi looks to score with a jab to the body but Hill is just out of range.
Hill gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Hill can't keep his opponent in guard - Kawaguchi advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Kawaguchi has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Hill really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kawaguchi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hill tries to buck Kawaguchi off but he can't manage it.
