Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Tran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White comes to the cage accompanied by Street Carp by Deftones. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tran feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Tran won't allow White to sweep him here.
White has momentary wrist control but Tran slips an elbow through the middle.
White is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Tran walks into a jab.
Tran tries for a takedown but White circles away easily
and White counters with a left and a right that stings Tran.

White leaves Tran with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A right-left combo lands from White.
White moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Tran shoots in for a takedown but White shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Daniel White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Tran.
White cracks Tran with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Nice sprawl there from White as Tran shoots in.
Tran looks gassed!
Tran misses with a takedown
and White cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
White punishes Tran's body with a nice straight punch.
Left hook, right uppercut from White.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tran with a poor takedown
and White counters with a left to the body.
White pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Tran back to the cage. White follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Tran misses with a takedown attempt
and White counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
White feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Trans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
White is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
White scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Tran tries to move into range but White moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
White lands a left and a right that send Tran crashing to the mat, dazed. White thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Tran is rocked!
White lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Tran is looking to close the distance but White sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Tran crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Tran is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
