Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alarcon Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ramirez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to War is my destiny. Holmes comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Everybody Knows My Name kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mike Holmes was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Ramirez checks the leg kick nicely there.
Holmes lands a slapping body shot.
Holmes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ramirez .
Holmes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ramirez manages to avoid it.
Ramirez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ramirez fails with the takedown
and Holmes counters with a stiff right hand.

Ramirez takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
A low kick from Ramirez misses
and Holmes makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Ramirez doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

A looping hook to the body misses from Holmes. Ramirez does a little dance to reset his feet.
Some bone on bone action there as Ramirez checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Holmes tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ramirez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Holmes throws a right and a left that Ramirez avoids nicely.

Ramirez does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Holmes wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ramirez finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Holmes tries to work over Ramirez 's front leg with a kick but Ramirez checks it.
Ramirez fails with a takedown attempt.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ramirez bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ramirez misses with a leg kick
letting Holmes counter with a right hand.

and Holmes counters with a nice uppercut.

Mike Holmes showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

and Ramirez counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Holmes thinking.
Mike Holmes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ramirez steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Holmes.
Ramirez on the wrong end of a nice hook.
A telegraphed right hand from Holmes misses the target.
Ramirez misses with a leg kick
and Holmes counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Ramirez counters with a nice leg kick.

Holmes scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Holmes tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ramirez paws at him with a jab and circles away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ramirez .
Alarcon Ramirez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Ramirez lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Ramirez is looking to work some ground and pound but Holmes has wrist control.
Holmes controls Ramirez momentarily but Ramirez frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Holmes is pulling down on Ramirez 's head. It's preventing any offense from Ramirez , at least for the moment.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Mike Holmes was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Ramirez takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Nice shot lands for Holmes.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Mike Holmes comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Holmes winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
