Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Rambo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Rambo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nick Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Rambo! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Rambo is trying to maintain the position but Diaz is very close to passing his half guard. Diaz keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Diaz thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diaz prevents Rambo from improving his position. Rambo moves into full guard.
Diaz lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Diaz postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rambo is on top in guard.
Diaz on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Diaz tries to get out of the position. Rambo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. Diaz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Diaz looking to control but Rambo passes into half guard.
Rambo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Diaz's head. Diaz keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Rambo thows a huge punch but Diaz dodges it nicely.
Rambo has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Rambo trying to control but Diaz is having none of it. Diaz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Diaz slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Rambo is working for a submission of some sort.
Diaz is looking for a sweep. Rambo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rambo not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Diaz tries to get to full guard but Rambo has control of the leg. Rambo throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Rambo not landing any meaningful shots this time. Rambo is keen to just control but Diaz is a slippery customer. Rambo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Rambo trying to advance position but Diaz counters by regaining guard. Diaz looking to control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Diaz has hold of Rambo's hands but Rambo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Diaz is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Rambo pulls his head out easily. Diaz is breathing heavily. Diaz is refusing to be controlled, as Rambo sits in half guard. Rambo is working for a kimura but Diaz is defending it quite comfortably.
Rambo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Rambo takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but John Rambo will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Diaz defending well as Rambo loads up on a big left hand. Diaz throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Diaz misses with a leg kick and Rambo counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Rambo takes a swing at Diaz's ribcage but misses. Rambo scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Diaz looks to move to half guard but instead Rambo has passed into mount! Damn! The referee warns Diaz that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
It looks like Nick Diaz has been cut. Diaz tries to get back to half guard but can't. Diaz is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Rambo landing strikes from the mount and Diaz is in trouble!
Diaz is rocked!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Nick Diaz's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). John Rambo!
