Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Potemkin Buster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Fernandes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fernandes has chosen Battle Ready - Otep as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Buster jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Fernandes manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Buster wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Fernandes, who protects the arm well.

Buster goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Fernandes rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Buster's guard! Nice work there by Fernandes!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fernandes throws a hook to the side of Buster's head but Buster sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Fernandes counters with a nice uppercut.
Fernandes dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Buster. That did some damage!

and Buster counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Buster postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Fernandes is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Buster, into his guard.

Paulo Fernandes showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
