Hinton shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Mills counters with a nice leg kick.
Hinton misses the jab.
Hinton connects with a looping right hand.
Hinton displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mills throws out the jab.

Mills lands with a nice combination. Hinton backs away looking to recover.

Hinton throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Hinton shoots in looking for a takedown but Mills manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hinton's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Mills clobbers Hinton with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Mills throws a hook to the side of Hinton's head but Hinton sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Hinton moves forwards but Mills connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Hinton looks to throw the jab but Mills is out of range.
Scott Hinton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hinton looks to score with a jab to the body but Mills is just out of range.

Hinton rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hinton takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Hinton fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mills has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Mills counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Mills cracks Hinton with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Hinton swings away with a body shot that misses
and Mills counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hinton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mills moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hinton missing with a left hand there. Mills was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Hinton defending well as Mills loads up on a big left hand.
Mills uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hinton.
Hinton is trying desperately to land a takedown but Mills is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Hinton.
Mills throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hinton stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Mills fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mills, as that shot connected.
Mills misses with a two punch combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hinton takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Mills stuffs the takedown attempt from Hinton. Hinton gets slowly back to his feet.

Hinton looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Scott Hinton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Hinton thows a body shot but no joy.
Mills fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Hinton checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Jimmy Mills is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Mills swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A lazy left from Mills finds it's target.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jimmy Mills.
Well Mills has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
