Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Justin White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Van Hook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White comes into the arena with Ain't I remix by Yung LA ft. Young Dro and T.I. blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Van Hook's choice of entrance music: The Cure's Close To Me. Kyle Van Hook has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Justin White's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Justin White! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kyle Van Hook! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Van Hook scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Van Hook drives through with a takedown into guard. White trying to keep a closed guard but Van Hook is proving a slippery customer.
Van Hook pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. White is keeping the position for now. Van Hook drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and White dives on top into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Van Hook is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
White trying to control the position from guard on top but Van Hook is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Van Hook has his foot on White's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. White works his way back into a safe position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. White working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Van Hook can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as White controls the pace. White trying to control but Van Hook is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White tries to free his leg and advance position but Van Hook is retaining full guard. Van Hook has an active guard here but White has managed to pass into half guard.
White wants to lay and pray for a moment but Van Hook keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Van Hook is trying to stand back up but White is controlling him
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. White trying to work for an americana but Van Hook has managed to regain full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kyle Van Hook dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Van Hook throws a right hand that White ducks under and follows up with a left that White also avoids with ease. Van Hook tries to clinch there but White circles away.
Van Hook has managed to clinch.
Van Hook breaks from the clinch.
Van Hook scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Van Hook has worked his way into a potential kimura here. White is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Van Hook yanks on the arm and White is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Van Hook.
