Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tasmanian Devil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Choo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Tasmanian Devil has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Tasmanian Devil seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tasmanian Devil! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Daniel Choo! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Choo drives through with a takedown into guard. Choo prevents Devil from getting back to his feet. Choo tries to free his leg and advance position but Devil is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Choo stays in close to Devil's body and controls the position. Devil looking for a sweep. Not yet Devil, not yet. Choo wants to control from the top but Devil keeps moving.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Daniel Choo hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Devil dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Choo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Choo postures up.
Devil wants to control but Choo passes easily into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Devil manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Choo looking to sit in guard and control but Devil gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Devil trying to control but Choo is working from the bottom. Devil wants to pass the guard but Choo is keeping the position. Choo looking to control but Devil passes into half guard.
Devil is trying to control the action in half guard but Choo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Devil is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Choo is defending against the submission attempts here by Devil.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Choo trying to control but Devil postures up.
Devil looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Devil is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Choo defends it well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Devil is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Choo has managed to free his arm - good work. Choo is defending against the submission attempts here by Devil.
Devil tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Choo. Devil decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Choo throws a nice outside leg kick. Devil closes the distance but Choo moves to the side and Choo counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Devil changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Choo fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Choo has his takedown stuffed and Devil decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Choo's guard. Devil wants to pass the guard but Choo is keeping the position. Devil is working hard here to advance position. Devil trying to control the position from guard on top but Choo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tasmanian Devil will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Devil misses with a takedown and Choo counters with a single leg into guard. Devil didn't expect that. Choo wants to control from the top but Devil keeps moving. Devil not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Choo slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Devil is looking to reverse the position. Devil is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Choo is controlling him well. Devil is trying to get back to half guard. Devil manages to work his way to half guard, despite Choo's best efforts.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Devil manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Choo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Devil swivels though and keeps the full guard. Choo is breathing heavily. Devil not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Devil is controlling Choo's posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
We're going to have a standup here because Tasmanian Devil wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Choo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Devil. That did some damage! Devil gets a double leg takedown into Choo's guard. Choo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Devil missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Devil decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Devil looking to score a takedown here. Choo is defending well but Devil drives through and ends up in Choo's guard. Choo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Devil stands up from Choo's guard - Devil perhaps looking for a knockout. Tasmanian Devil is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Devil fails with the takedown and Choo makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Devil tries to clinch and Choo counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Choo is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Devil tries to land a knee to the head but Choo blocks with his arms.
Devil is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Choo is keeping busy. Devil working hard to break the clinch. Choo jumps guard.
Choo keeping moving, preventing Devil from controlling successfully. Devil stands and throws Choo's legs to the side, diving into side control. Sloppy strikes there by Devil.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Devil taking a breather here. Devil throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Devil throwing shots but missing, from side control. Devil misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Devil goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Choo has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Devil but great work by Choo. Devil is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Devil trying to hold on to Choo's head to control him but Choo postures up.
Devil is looking for a sweep. Choo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Choo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Devil does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Tasmanian Devil will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Devil has Choo up against the cage in a clinch.
Devil goes for a takedown attempt but Choo pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

That's one minute gone in the round. Devil seems a little lost for a moment, as Choo dominates the positioning. Choo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Choo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Devil keeps working. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Daniel Choo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Daniel Choo was stalling too much, according to the referee. Choo throws a low kick but it's checked well by Devil. Devil darts in trying to clinch and Choo counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Devil tries to roll over but Choo keeps him under control. Devil trying to control here.
Devil kicks off Choo and gets to his feet. Choo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Devil sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Choo somewhat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Devil wants to clinch but Choo slips to the side and Choo counters with a single leg into guard. Devil didn't expect that. Devil working a defensive guard here.
Choo wants to control from the top but Devil keeps moving. Choo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Devil is keeping the position for now. Devil is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Tasmanian Devil has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Devil looking to score a takedown here. Choo is defending well but Devil drives through and ends up in Choo's guard. Tasmanian Devil is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Choo being controlled here, momentarily. Devil passes Choo's left leg - he's now in half guard. Devil seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Choo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Devil with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Choo is staying active underneath Devil, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that's the end of the fight! Daniel Choo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Devil has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
