Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson tries to clinch there but Methven circles away.
Methven closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Methven lands in his opponent's guard. Methven distracts Anderson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Anderson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Methven chips away with some ground and pound. Methven postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Methven trying to control but Anderson is working from the bottom. Anderson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Methven throws a big right hand that misses. Methven wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving. Methven might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Methven postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Anderson is looking for a triangle but Methven pushes his legs off easily.

Methven distracts Anderson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Methven gets to his feet. Anderson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Methven has a takedown stuffed. Methven avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Methven shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Anderson but Anderson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Methven misses with a takedown attempt - Anderson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tom Methven. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Methven has closed the distance and engaged Anderson in a clinch.

Methven scores with a shoulder strike. Methven ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Methven no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Methven is looking for a triangle but Anderson pushes his legs off easily.
Methven has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Methven bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Anderson's guard. Methven working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Methven stops Anderson from standing up. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Anderson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Methven. Anderson throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Methven slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Methven passes Anderson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Methven is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Methven passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Anderson! Methven landing shots from mount. Methven wants to control the pace but Anderson is squirming around nicely. Anderson wants to try and get back to his feet. Anderson flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Methven prevents Anderson from getting the reversal. Methven is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Anderson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Methven landing punches. Methven has control of Anderson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Anderson regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Methven with a couple of short strikes. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Anderson in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Methven scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Anderson?

Anderson looks gassed! Methven lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Anderson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Methven shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Anderson defends it nicely. Anderson fails to land the takedown. Methven rushes Anderson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Methven pulls guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Anderson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Anderson stopping the sweep attempt from Methven. Methven is looking to stand up but Anderson isn't so interested in that idea. Anderson preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Methven dives on top into guard. Anderson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Methven is aware though and is defending well. Anderson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Anderson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Methven forces his way into half guard. Anderson tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Methven lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Methven looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Anderson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Methven slips a nice elbow through Anderson's hands, connecting with Anderson's forehead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Methven landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Methven has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Methven with shots to the head and body - Anderson looks very uncomfortable down there. Anderson is breathing heavily. Methven looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Methven wants to control the pace but Anderson is squirming around nicely. Methven landing punches.
Anderson is rocked! Anderson flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Methven with the ground and pound from mount. Anderson is still in real trouble! Can Methven finish him? Methven is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Anderson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Anderson shrugs it off. Methven postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Anderson badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Methven around the waist but Methven pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Methven is the winner by TKO! Methven jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
