Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shane MacKallister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Super Dude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MacKallister comes to the ring accompanied by Four Horsemen by Metallica. Dude has chosen Eye of the Tiger as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

6 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Super Dude! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! MacKallister bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. MacKallister is looking to take a break and control but Dude is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dude takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Dude is looking to regain half guard here but MacKallister keeps moving and retains side control. MacKallister in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Dude is trying to maintain the position but MacKallister is very close to passing his half guard. MacKallister is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Dude still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Dude has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! MacKallister tries to get back to half guard but can't. Dude tries to move to mount but MacKallister blocks the move with his legs. MacKallister is not content to let Dude control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. MacKallister is looking to regain half guard here but Dude keeps moving and retains side control. Dude trying to control the position but MacKallister is working away. Dude scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at MacKallister to see if he's OK. MacKallister tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dude wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Dude working the ground and pound from side control. MacKallister is trying to control Dude's posture but Dude avoids it. MacKallister tries to buck Dude off but Dude is having none of it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. MacKallister gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. MacKallister is refusing to be controlled, as Dude sits in half guard. MacKallister is doing well to control the position and prevent Dude from advancing to side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

MacKallister shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dude pinned against the ropes. Dude gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. MacKallister lunges at Dude with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Dude's hand. MacKallister shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. MacKallister with the ground and pound from mount. Dude tries to lock up and control but MacKallister gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. MacKallister controlling the pace for now. MacKallister misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
That's one minute gone in the round. MacKallister throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Dude because MacKallister loaded up on that one. MacKallister is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Dude has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Dude! MacKallister keeping moving, preventing Dude from controlling successfully. MacKallister has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dude can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Dude stops MacKallister from standing up. MacKallister is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Dude frees his head nicely. Oh but MacKallister has switched to an armbar! Dude is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
