Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vitor Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mack Speed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Belfort comes to the cage accompanied by Simple Man. On his way into the cage it seems that Vitor Belfort has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Vitor Belfort seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Reed Andrews and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belfort shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A head kick misses from Speed.
Belfort fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Speed avoids it really well and circles away.
Speed misses with a low kick as Belfort jumps back.
Speed displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Belfort.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vitor Belfort. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Speed uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Belfort.

Speed is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nice takedown defense from Speed. No joy for Belfort on that attempt.
Speed lets loose with a powerful body kick. Belfort will feel that in the morning.

Belfort shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Speed sprawls well. Speed wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Belfort gets slowly back to his feet.
Speed swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Belfort shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Speed pinned against the cage. Speed gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Speed lands a nice looking body kick.
Belfort just misses with a punch to the body.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Belfort is defended easily by Speed.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Belfort shoots for a takedown but Speed saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Speed displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Belfort throws out the jab.
Speed throws the kick towards the body but Belfort avoids it.
Belfort throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Speed's waist but Speed gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Belfort off to one side.
Speed fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Belfort.
Speed scores with a nice head shot.
Belfort tests Speed's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Mack Speed is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Speed pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Belfort ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Speed lands a head kick. Belfort smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Speed counters with a nice body kick.
Speed connects with an inside leg kick.
Belfort scores with a nice strike.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Belfort checks a leg kick.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Belfort. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Belfort throws a hook but Speed blocks it.
Speed tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Nice takedown defense from Speed. No joy for Belfort on that attempt.
A head kick from Speed lands but Belfort takes it in his stride.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Belfort blocks a head kick by Speed.
Speed throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mack Speed dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Speed fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Speed lands a leg kick that knocks Belfort off balance momentarily.
Speed cracks the inside of Belfort's front leg.
Speed is looking to slow Belfort down with leg kicks.
A solid leg kick lands there for Speed.
Speed throws a nice outside leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Speed paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Speed misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Speed circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Belfort drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Speed follows Belfort to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
