And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trance has his takedown stuffed
letting Matters counter with a right hand.
Trance tries for a takedown but Matters circles away easily
and Matters counters with a series of strikes. Trance will be more careful next time no doubt.

and Trance takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Mike Matters has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vlad Trance.
Matters throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Trance on the side of the head.
Vlad Trance seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Matters misses with a double jab.
Trance closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Matters quickly recovers to half guard.
Matters is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Trance pulls his head out easily.

Matters wants to hold on but Trance pushes him away.
Matters has left one of his arms exposed and Trance doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Matters screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
