Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Orville Redenbacher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marius Metropolis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Redenbacher kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Danger Zone. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Orville Redenbacher! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marius Metropolis! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Redenbacher with a nice cross. Redenbacher throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Metropolis counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Metropolis just misses with a punch to the body.
Metropolis misses the shot to the body. A jab lands there for Redenbacher. Redenbacher steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Metropolis. Redenbacher throws a right hand that misses
and Metropolis makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Metropolis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Redenbacher as he jumps to the side. Redenbacher misses with a body punch
and Metropolis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Orville Redenbacher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Redenbacher tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Redenbacher throws a poor cross that misses
and Metropolis counters with a stiff right hand. Redenbacher misses with a body shot

That's two minutes gone in the round. Redenbacher throws out a powerful jab. Redenbacher staying out of range there. Redenbacher throws an off balance right hand
and Metropolis counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Redenbacher swings widly with a right hand
so Metropolis counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Metropolis trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Metropolis stops Redenbacher from standing up. Metropolis wants to control from the top but Redenbacher keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Orville Redenbacher. Metropolis cracks Redenbacher with an open hand slap. Redenbacher misses with a left hand and Metropolis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Redenbacher throws a combination that misses and Metropolis counters with a lovely shot to the body. Redenbacher is looking to chop away at Metropolis's legs. Metropolis takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Metropolis looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Marius Metropolis will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Metropolis works Redenbacher's body with a nice hook. Redenbacher throws a lazy uppercut
and Metropolis counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Metropolis steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Redenbacher. A solid leg kick lands there for Redenbacher.
Metropolis connects with a good right hand that stumbles Redenbacher. Redenbacher circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Metropolis is trying hard to land a takedown here. Redenbacher sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's one minute gone in the round. Metropolis gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Orville Redenbacher is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Metropolis takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Redenbacher rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Metropolis counters with a lovely straight right hand! Horrible takedown by Metropolis or perhaps it was just good defense by Redenbacher which made him look bad. Metropolis avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Metropolis fails with the takedown and Redenbacher connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Orville Redenbacher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marius Metropolis. Redenbacher throws a shot from downtown. Metropolis moves away and avoids it. Redenbacher rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Metropolis counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Redenbacher keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Redenbacher lands a front kick. Redenbacher falls off balance throwing a combination
and Metropolis counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Metropolis looks to land a strike but Redenbacher avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Redenbacher working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Metropolis. Redenbacher keeping moving, preventing Metropolis from controlling successfully. Redenbacher utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Metropolis wants to control from the top but Redenbacher keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Orville Redenbacher dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
A low kick from Redenbacher misses and Metropolis counters with a shoot takedown. Redenbacher fights it but they end up in guard. Metropolis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Redenbacher works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Metropolis with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Metropolis advances to half guard. Redenbacher wants to get back to full guard. Metropolis is trying to control. Redenbacher wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Metropolis stalling away here and it's allowed Redenbacher to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Metropolis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Redenbacher swivels though and keeps the full guard. Metropolis is looking to work some ground and pound but Redenbacher has wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Redenbacher preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Redenbacher knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Metropolis on the ground. Metropolis is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Orville Redenbacher just wasn't active enough. Redenbacher uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Metropolis. Redenbacher misses the body punch and Metropolis counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Metropolis counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Redenbacher! Redenbacher working to try and regain half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Metropolis goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Redenbacher turns into him and now he's in Metropolis's guard.
Metropolis tries to land a sweep but no joy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marius Metropolis really dominated that round. That's time! Redenbacher's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Poor timing from Metropolis. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Metropolis takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

and Metropolis counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Metropolis throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Redenbacher desperately trying to maintain half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Redenbacher regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Metropolis.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Redenbacher working a defensive guard but Metropolis passes into half guard.
Metropolis is trying to control the action in half guard but Redenbacher is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Metropolis connects with a nice short shot to Redenbacher's temple. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Redenbacher keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Metropolis trying to mount his opponent but Redenbacher defends it. Redenbacher has one foot on Metropolis's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Redenbacher throws a lazy body kick and Metropolis counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Redenbacher's guard now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Metropolis passes easily into side control. Nice work. Metropolis wants to take a breather but Redenbacher manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Metropolis. Redenbacher keeping full guard, as Metropolis tries to pass. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Metropolis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Redenbacher circles away. Marius Metropolis is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Redenbacher throws a right hand that misses
and Metropolis counters with a right hand to the body. Redenbacher gets caught napping as Metropolis dives in and scores a takedown. Redenbacher manages to retain guard. Metropolis controls from within his opponent's guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

and Metropolis counters with a left to the body. Orville Redenbacher has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Metropolis lands with an uppercut that bounces Redenbacher off the cage and back into rage. Metropolis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Redenbacher bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Metropolis's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Metropolis takes one to the side of the head.
It looks like Marius Metropolis has been cut. Redenbacher throws a wild body kick that Metropolis sees coming a mile off. Metropolis throws a hook but Redenbacher avoids it easily. Metropolis takes a swing at Redenbacher's ribcage but misses. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Metropolis is defended easily by Redenbacher.
And that's the end of the fight! Marius Metropolis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Metropolis has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
