Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eaton Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Bundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cox might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hatebreed - Destroy Everything. Bundy is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: God Hates a Coward. Eaton Cox has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eaton Cox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alan Bundy!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bundy throws a series of punches but Cox avoids them all with ease.
Alan Bundy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bundy throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
An inside leg kick from Cox misses.
Bundy misses with a hook. Cox ducked under it nicely.
Bundy tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Cox counters with a left to the body.

and Cox counters with a big head kick but Bundy shrugs it off.

Cox is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bundy.
Bundy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bundy wants it to stay on the feet.

Bundy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cox is fending him off so far but Bundy persists. Nope, Cox circles away and we're back to standing.

Cox throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Bundy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Cox manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Bundy pivots, looking for a leg kick but Cox is out of range and Bundy settles back down.

Bundy throws the left hand but Cox avoids the punch easily.

A punch lands to the side of Cox 's head but he takes it in his stride.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bundy has his foot on Cox's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cox works his way back into a safe position though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Bundy throws a jab when Cox was well out of range.
Bundy throws the kick towards the body but Cox avoids it.

Bundy shoots in looking for a takedown. Cox tries to sprawl out of it but Bundy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cox manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bundy throws a good cross that connects.

Cox is stalling here. Bundy is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Cox seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Bundy has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

That was a close second round but I would say that Eaton Cox will probably get the nod.

Cox walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Cox fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bundy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
