Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aruneru Hero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and B Ol ANus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aruneru Hero has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hero scores with a jab to the body.
Hero misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hero wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Hero throws a shot to the body.
Hero lands a high kick!
Hero lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hero.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and ANus counters with a nice double leg into guard.
ANus trying to control but Hero is working from the bottom.
Hero trying to keep a closed guard but ANus is proving a slippery customer.
Hero wants to stand and escape but ANus is having none of it.

Hero swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.

ANus should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Hero bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

ANus dodges the ground and pound from Hero.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
ANus is trying to improve his position.
Hero tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

You can see the frustration on Hero's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

ANus can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hero is looking to escape.
Hero holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as ANus tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Hero tries to hold on but ANus postures up.
ANus tries to control but Hero wriggling away.
Hero tries to lock up and control but ANus gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
ANus can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hero is looking to escape.

B Ol ANus showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Hero is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
A lazy left from Hero finds it's target.
ANus throws out a loose jab but Hero uses good head movement to avoid it.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Hero is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. ANus is aware though and is defending well.
Hero will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

B Ol ANus has got the better of the ground game so far.
ANus wants to control from the top but Hero keeps moving.
ANus might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hero kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Hero thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

and ANus counters with a single leg into guard. Hero didn't expect that.

Hero working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. ANus doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. ANus manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Aruneru Hero.
