The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mayweather circles away.
Couture shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
No luck for Couture with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ranndy Couture. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Couture takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Couture tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mayweather swivels and escapes.
Mayweather throws a right hand that Couture ducks under and follows up with a left that Couture also avoids with ease.
Couture walks into a straight right hand from Mayweather.

Couture misses with a takedown attempt - Mayweather sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Couture is breathing heavily.
Couture closes the distance and clinches up with Mayweather, looking for a takedown. Couture pushes Mayweather against the cage but Mayweather circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mayweather's jab looks to have found its range, popping Couture under the eye.
Ranndy Couture seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mayweather throws a nice looking combination but Couture bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Nice sprawl there from Mayweather as Couture shoots in.
Nice takedown defense from Mayweather. No joy for Couture on that attempt.
Mayweather lands a left and a right that send Couture crashing to the mat, dazed. Mayweather thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Couture is rocked!
Mayweather finds Couture's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Couture flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Mayweather lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Couture will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Manny Mayweather!
