Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shaine Corovin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Auguste Rodin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Shaine Corovin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Auguste Rodin!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Rodin can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Corovin is looking to escape.
Corovin tries to lock up and control but Rodin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Rodin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Corovin keeps working.

Auguste Rodin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!



Rodin shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Corovin napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Rodin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Corovin avoids it really well and circles away.

Corovin changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rodin fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Corovin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rodin's waist but Rodin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Corovin off to one side.

Corovin pushes Rodin back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Corovin has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Rodin clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Corovin throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rodin blocks it with crossed arms.

Rodin is trying to maintain a safe position but Corovin gets an underhook and turns Rodin into the cage.

Rodin tightens his grip and picks Corovin up, before dumping him to the ground. Corovin manages to land in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Auguste Rodin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Rodin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
