Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dhe Orele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevie Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orele comes into the arena with Ironman blaring out of the sound system. Reyes has chosen All the Above as his entrance music. Dhe Orele had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dhe Orele! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stevie Reyes! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reyes stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Orele. Orele moves away from the strike by Reyes. Reyes throws a right hand that Orele ducks under and follows up with a left that Orele also avoids with ease. A jab from Orele misses. Orele looks to land a combination but Reyes avoids it well. Reyes scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Orele misses with a right hand letting Reyes counter with a right hand. Reyes misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Orele makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Orele misses with a combination
and Reyes counters with a lovely shot to the body. Reyes changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Reyes throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's one minute gone in the round. Orele moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Orele takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Orele fails in his attempt to clinch. Dhe Orele seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Orele fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Reyes. A nice combination there by Orele.
It looks like Stevie Reyes has been cut. Reyes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Orele moves away. Reyes is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Orele rather than just go for the knockout. Orele swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Reyes cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Orele falls off balance throwing a combination
and Reyes counters with a series of strikes. Orele will be more careful next time no doubt. Orele uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Reyes.

A shot to the body from Orele misses enabling Reyes to counter with a crisp jab. Reyes takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Reyes just misses with a punch to the body.
Reyes checks a leg kick nicely. Reyes jabs Orele right on the nose. Orele blinks but takes it well. Reyes scores with a decent looking hook. Orele throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Orele with a lazy takedown attempt and Reyes counters with a nice uppercut. Reyes misses with a looping right. Orele falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Reyes to counter with a crisp jab. Reyes takes a swing at Orele's ribcage but misses. Orele closes the distance and clinches up with Reyes, looking for a takedown. Orele pushes Reyes against the cage but Reyes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Reyes throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Orele sees it coming and avoids it easily. Orele shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dhe Orele. That's going to take a lot out of him. Orele throws a left and a right that both miss
and Reyes counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Orele thinking. Reyes punishes Orele's body with a nice straight punch. A nice combination there by Reyes.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Orele takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Reyes takes a body punch but keeps moving. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Orele throws an off balance right hand
and Reyes counters with a stiff right hand. Orele really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Reyes scores with a decent looking hook. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Orele dives in and grabs Reyes's left leg, looking for a takedown. Reyes pushes down on Orele's head and hops out. Orele throws a lazy uppercut
and Reyes counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Orele throws a combination that misses and Reyes counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Stevie Reyes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Reyes ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Orele looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Orele wants to slow Reyes down by chopping away at his legs. No luck for Orele with that takedown attempt. Orele wants to clinch and Reyes counters with a nice uppercut. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Orele. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

and Orele counters with a nice double leg into guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Reyes looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Reyes can do anything to dispel that myth. Orele is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Reyes doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Orele. Reyes wants to improve his position but Orele is controlling well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Orele is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Reyes has escaped the position, nice work there. Orele throws a strike aimed at the side of Reyes's head but Reyes avoids it well. Orele trying to control the position but Reyes is working away. Reyes tries to strike from the bottom but misses. Orele wants to lay and pray for a moment but Reyes keeps working. Reyes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Orele. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Orele is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Reyes's shoulder. That is not cool. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Orele tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Orele will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Orele fails to land a wild elbow strike.

That's one minute gone in the round. Some bone on bone action there as Reyes checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Orele goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Reyes misses with a looping left. Reyes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Orele. Reyes shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Orele eats them both and turns towards Reyes to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Orele!

A low kick from Orele lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Reyes has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Reyes and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Reyes scores with a hook. Orele uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Reyes. Orele shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Reyes but Reyes pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Dhe Orele is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Orele lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Orele tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Reyes is able to avoid easily. Reyes misses with a wild combination.

Reyes lands with an uppercut that bounces Orele off the cage and back into rage. Stevie Reyes is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Orele lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Reyes backs up against the cage.

And that's the end of the fight! Stevie Reyes comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Reyes winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
