The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corbett misses with a combination
and Bishop counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bishop shoots for a double leg takedown but Corbett sprawls well. He's pushed Bishop's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bishop uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Corbett.
No joy there for Corbett, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Bishop counters with a shoot takedown. Corbett fights it but they end up in guard.
Bishop wants to pass the guard but Corbett is keeping the position.
Corbett is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
