Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sean Higastsui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rufus Hitzlspergher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sean Higastsui!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rufus Hitzlspergher!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitzlspergher cracks Higastsui with a right hand to the side of the head.
Hitzlspergher misses with a left hand
so Higastsui counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Hitzlspergher working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Higastsui doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Higastsui manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Higastsui wants to control from the top but Hitzlspergher keeps moving.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Sean Higastsui just wasn't active enough.

You can see the frustration on Hitzlspergher's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
