Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sean Higastsui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rufus Hitzlspergher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sean Higastsui! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rufus Hitzlspergher! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hitzlspergher cracks Higastsui with a right hand to the side of the head. Hitzlspergher misses with a left hand so Higastsui counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Hitzlspergher working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Higastsui doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Higastsui manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Higastsui wants to control from the top but Hitzlspergher keeps moving. Hitzlspergher looking to hit a scissor sweep but Higastsui is one step ahead there. Hitzlspergher keeping moving, preventing Higastsui from controlling successfully. Hitzlspergher working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Higastsui doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Higastsui manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Higastsui stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hitzlspergher swivels though and keeps the full guard. Higastsui trying to control but Hitzlspergher is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Higastsui works a leg free and moves into half guard. Hitzlspergher is looking for a sweep. Higastsui is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hitzlspergher manages to get to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Higastsui preventing the sweep. Higastsui postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hitzlspergher is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Higastsui, into his guard. Hitzlspergher trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Higastsui manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Higastsui tries to free his leg and advance position but Hitzlspergher is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hitzlspergher manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Higastsui manages to get himself to full guard.
Hitzlspergher trying to control the position from guard on top but Higastsui is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Hitzlspergher looking to pass the guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Higastsui moves out of range of the strikes. Hitzlspergher thows a body shot but no joy. Rufus Hitzlspergher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hitzlspergher lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Higastsui at a distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Higastsui fails with the takedown and Hitzlspergher counters with a straight right hand. Higastsui doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hitzlspergher counters with a lovely shot to the body. Higastsui takes a jab right on the kisser.
Hitzlspergher tries to bum rush Higastsui with a series of wild strikes but Higastsui uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Higastsui gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Hitzlspergher counters with a stiff right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sean Higastsui. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hitzlspergher fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Higastsui manages to avoid it. Hitzlspergher throws a right hand that misses
and Higastsui makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Rufus Hitzlspergher will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
No joy there for Hitzlspergher, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hitzlspergher waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Higastsui. Higastsui has his takedown stuffed and Hitzlspergher counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Hitzlspergher throws an off balance right hand
and Higastsui counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Higastsui. Higastsui drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Higastsui jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Hitzlspergher is trying to keep Higastsui in close.
Higastsui wants to pass the guard but Hitzlspergher is keeping the position. Hitzlspergher looking to hit a scissor sweep but Higastsui is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Higastsui tries to free his leg and advance position but Hitzlspergher is retaining full guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Hitzlspergher working a defensive guard here.
Hitzlspergher is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Hitzlspergher wants to lay and pray for a moment but Higastsui keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Sean Higastsui just wasn't active enough. Hitzlspergher misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Higastsui counters with a takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Hitzlspergher's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Higastsui tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Higastsui has knee on belly momentarily but Hitzlspergher bucks him off and regains half guard. Higastsui is looking to advance position but Hitzlspergher won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Higastsui seems to be working for a kimura but Hitzlspergher defends the submission attempt. Higastsui working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Hitzlspergher's thigh. Hitzlspergher counters though and makes it back to full guard. Higastsui is looking to advance position but Hitzlspergher has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Hitzlspergher controlling from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hitzlspergher tries to control but Higastsui wriggling away. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Hitzlspergher controlling the position easily from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sean Higastsui dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Sean Higastsui overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hitzlspergher moves into full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Higastsui postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hitzlspergher is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Higastsui, into his guard. Hitzlspergher tries to free his leg and advance position but Higastsui is retaining full guard. Hitzlspergher must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hitzlspergher is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hitzlspergher trying to move into half guard but instead Higastsui has managed to sweep! Higastsui tries to free his leg and advance position but Hitzlspergher is retaining full guard. Higastsui forces his way into half guard. Higastsui trying to pass the guard but Hitzlspergher defending well. Higastsui works his way into full mount! Higastsui is trying to take his opponent's back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hitzlspergher is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Higastsui is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Hitzlspergher has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Hitzlspergher! Hitzlspergher stands up from Higastsui's guard - Hitzlspergher perhaps looking for a knockout. Hitzlspergher misses with a series of wild punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hitzlspergher lands with an uppercut that bounces Higastsui off the cage and back into rage. Hitzlspergher takes a swing at Higastsui's ribcage but misses. Higastsui has his takedown stuffed and Hitzlspergher moves into the clinch. Hitzlspergher cracks Higastsui with a nice body shot. A short left from Hitzlspergher. Nice body punch from Hitzlspergher - that landed with a thud.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Higastsui looking for a takedown. Higastsui is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sean Higastsui. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hitzlspergher lands with a left to the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Rufus Hitzlspergher comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Hitzlspergher has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
