Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Justin Zane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kappi Bateman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bateman has chosen 20th century boy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kappi Bateman has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Justin Zane's chin.

and Bateman counters with a good, hard body kick but Zane shrugs it off.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Zane takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Zane tries to pull guard but Bateman won't allow it.
Zane has Bateman pressed against the cage, preventing Bateman from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Bateman lands a good knee to the midsection. Zane won't want to take too many of those.

Zane attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

enabling Bateman to counter with a crisp jab.
Zane rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bateman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Zane fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Oh Zane is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bateman.
No joy there for Zane, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bateman connects with a good right hand that stumbles Zane. Zane circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
