Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kale Nordstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Steene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jacob Steene told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steene tries to sprawl but Nordstrom drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Steene wants to sweep but Nordstrom has passed to side control!
Nordstrom is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Steene's shoulder. That is not cool.

Steene is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Nordstrom.

That's time! Nordstrom's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

and Nordstrom counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Nordstrom.

Nordstrom shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Nordstrom was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Steene really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nordstrom. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well Nordstrom has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
