The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matic has a takedown stuffed.
Matic walks forward, straight into a front kick from Misura.
Matic shoots in but Misura avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Matic fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tomislav Matic. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Misura waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Matic. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Matic to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Matic is rocked!
Misura decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Matic, up you get!
Oh Matic is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Matic drops his hands momentarily. Misura doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Matic staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Matic doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Yiutsa Misura!
