Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dixon Tudeep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tudeep comes into the arena with Survival of the Fitttest blaring out of the sound system. Liddell has chosen It's Dark and Hell Is Hot as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Chuck Liddell enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tudeep takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Dixon Tudeep has been cut. Liddell gets the takedown into side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Tudeep manages to work his way to half guard, despite Liddell's best efforts. Liddell is trying to control. Tudeep wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Liddell might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Tudeep kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Tudeep is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Tudeep actively working from the bottom here. Tudeep trying to control but Liddell postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tudeep is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Liddell is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Tudeep is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Liddell looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Liddell perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Tudeep keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Liddell is looking to advance position but Tudeep won't allow it. Tudeep is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Tudeep moves into full guard.
Tudeep looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Liddell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tudeep swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Liddell wants to control from the top but Tudeep keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Chuck Liddell. Tudeep scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tudeep seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Liddell is trying to get back to full guard. Liddell trying to control from the bottom.
Tudeep is working for a kimura but Liddell is defending it quite comfortably.
Tudeep works his way into full mount! Liddell can't escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Liddell is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Tudeep with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Tudeep swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Liddell is now in Tudeep's guard. A big mistake from Tudeep there, giving up the dominant position! Liddell trying to control but Tudeep is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Tudeep is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Liddell trying to control but Tudeep is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Chuck Liddell was stalling too much, according to the referee. Tudeep scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
It looks like Chuck Liddell has been cut. Liddell tries to close the distance and clinch but Tudeep swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Tudeep keeps the fight on the outside. Tudeep misses with a kick to the body.
Tudeep clinches with his opponent.
Tudeep fails to pull guard.
Tudeep struggles to land a body shot inside as Liddell controls his hands.
Liddell throws a knee to the head but misses.
Tudeep's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Tudeep rushes Liddell and presses him up against the cage. Tudeep drops down looking for an ankle pick but Liddell pulls his leg out and moves away.
A big left from Tudeep misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Chuck Liddell will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Liddell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tudeep leaves Liddell with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Tudeep rushes Liddell and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Tudeep breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tudeep throws a head kick but Liddell moves out of range.
Liddell fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tudeep, pushing him back against the cage. Tudeep looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Liddell jumps guard but Tudeep stands there with Liddell around his waist. Liddell gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Tudeep goes for a takedown in the clinch but Liddell prevents it.
Tudeep is trying to break the clinch but Liddell has him pressed against the cage. Tudeep goes for a takedown attempt but Liddell pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Liddell shoots in looking for a takedown. Tudeep tries to sprawl out of it but Liddell keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tudeep manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Dixon Tudeep has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chuck Liddell.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tudeep misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Liddell tries to clinch up and Tudeep counters with a leg kick. Liddell works the jab nicely. Liddell wants to clinch up but Tudeep keeps it at a distance. Dixon Tudeep seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tudeep scores with a one two! Liddell had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Liddell is breathing heavily. Tudeep scores with a hook to the body. Liddell takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Liddell dodges the punch combination from Tudeep.
Tudeep lands a left and a right that send Liddell crashing to the mat, dazed. Tudeep thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Liddell is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tudeep dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Liddell has had enough and taps out.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Dixon Tudeep!
