Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Hampton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benny Schilt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benny Schilt will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, James Hampton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Benny Schilt! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hampton shoots in and drives through. Schilt sprawls well. Hampton darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Hampton seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Schilt does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Schilt is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schilt has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hampton is working away from the top position though. Schilt is looking for a sweep. Hampton is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hampton lands strikes from half guard. Schilt is trying to get back to full guard. Schilt is doing well to control the position and prevent Hampton from advancing to side control. Schilt trying to hold on to Hampton's head to control him but Hampton postures up.
Schilt is looking for a sweep. Hampton is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hampton is thwarting Schilt's attempts to control the position. Schilt is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Benny Schilt. Hampton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Schilt manages to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schilt slips under a jab from Hampton. Hampton takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Schilt throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hampton's head. Schilt connects with a leg kick. Hampton looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Horrible takedown by Hampton or perhaps it was just good defense by Schilt which made him look bad. Schilt throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hampton. Hampton takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Schilt throws a quick inside leg kick. Hampton closes the distance and clinches. Schilt is trying to force a seperation but Hampton has the dominant position. Schilt wants to break the clinch but can't.
Schilt trying to control the position but instead, Hampton has worked for underhooks and has pushed Schilt into the cage. A hook to the body from Hampton.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schilt wants to stall.
Schilt is trying to break the clinch but Hampton is controlling him. Hampton keeps control of Schilt as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Schilt wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Hampton tightens his grip and picks Schilt up, before dumping him to the ground. Schilt manages to land in guard. Schilt trying to keep a closed guard but Hampton is proving a slippery customer.
Hampton thows a big elbow that misses. Hampton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hampton is working Schilt over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Schilt keeping moving, preventing Hampton from controlling successfully. Hampton content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Schilt is rocked! Hampton arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Schilt's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). James Hampton!
