2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Richard Reynolds! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kim shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Kim looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Kim scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kim lands a nice short elbow. Reynolds is refusing to be controlled, as Kim sits in half guard. Kim looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. That's one minute gone in the round. Kim winds up and cracks Reynolds with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Kim frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Kim landing strikes from the mount. Kim working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Kim lands a big elbow. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Reynolds swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Reynolds defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Kim. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. This is bad for Reynolds! Reynolds is desperately trying to improve his position but Kim has a good base and remains in mount. Kim lands with some strikes. Kim has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. That has opened up Richard Reynolds's cut even more. Kim looking to control but Reynolds is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Reynolds seems to have recovered his senses. Kim connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Richard Reynolds's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
