Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Rowler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Veliko Plamenov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eric Rowler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Veliko Plamenov! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Plamenov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rowler tries to avoid it but Plamenov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rowler to the ground. Rowler escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Rowler stuffs the takedown. Plamenov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rowler swats him away and circles back towards the center. Rowler fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Plamenov sprawls well initially but Rowler persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Rowler passes to side control. Rowler is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Plamenov is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Rowler scoring with punches from side control. Plamenov is not in a great position here, taking some shots. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rowler wants to control but Plamenov is keeping him busy. Rowler throwing shots but missing, from side control. Rowler looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rowler fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Plamenov is trying to improve his position. Plamenov can't do much from the bottom here. Plamenov tries to get back to half guard but can't. Plamenov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Rowler looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rowler advances to mount. Plamenov is in all sorts of trouble here.
Rowler pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Rowler trying to control but he's not successful this time. Plamenov wants to hold on but Rowler pushes him away. Plamenov looks gassed! Rowler with a couple of short strikes. Plamenov is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rowler working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Plamenov looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Rowler! Submission of the night perhaps?
