Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Bomb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vik Baeng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bomb might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Casino Royale Soundtrack - You Know My Name. Baeng has chosen Bring the noise as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, James Bomb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Vik Baeng!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bomb throws a jab when Baeng was well out of range.
James Bomb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bomb throws a lazy head kick
and Baeng counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Bomb stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Baeng.
A punch combination from Baeng misses.
Bomb blocks a leg kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Bomb checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Bomb scores with a kick to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Baeng counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bomb thinking.

and Bomb takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.


It looks like James Bomb has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Baeng will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

and Baeng counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Baeng moves in looking to clinch but Bomb pushes him off.

Baeng tries to score with a low kick but Bomb moves his leg out of the way.
Baeng misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bomb.
Bomb looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Bomb feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Baeng's calf.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Bomb counters with a nice low kick that buckles Baeng's knee momentarily.
Baeng is looking to chop away at Bomb's legs.
Vik Baeng is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Bomb moves out of range as Baeng strikes.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Baeng misses with a body shot
and Bomb counters with a head kick. That will keep Baeng thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Bomb throws a lazy right hand but Baeng sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bomb lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Baeng's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Bomb throws a low kick but Baeng avoids it.
Bomb pushes Baeng away with a front kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bomb fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Baeng checks it well.
Baeng blocks a low kick nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Baeng swings for the body but Bomb moves out of range.

and Baeng counters with an inside leg kick.

James Bomb showed his dominance in that final round.
I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
