Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raoul Duke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Barnes might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. The crowd seem to be enjoying Duke's choice of entrance music: All Along The Watchtower. Duke has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes misses with a shot to the body
and Duke counters with a thumping low kick.
Duke misses with a right hand
and Barnes counters with a good low kick that Duke was not able to check.
Some bone on bone action there as Duke checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Duke cracks the inside of Barnes's front leg.
Duke takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Barnes feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Duke's calf.
Barnes tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Duke was well out of range. Poor timing from Barnes.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Duke throws a lazy uppercut
and Barnes counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Duke is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Duke takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Barnes walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Duke checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well Barnes has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
