Cro Cop comes to the cage accompanied by My Immortal . Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoffman scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Hoffman goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Cro Cop has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hoffman but great work by Cro Cop.
Cro Cop thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Cro Cop tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Hoffman gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Cro Cop fails to move to back control.
Cro Cop jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hoffman is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hoffman and Cro Cop has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hoffman isn't going anywhere.
Cro Cop tries to move to full mount but Hoffman actually manages to regain half guard.
Hoffman moves into full guard.
Hoffman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hoffman is looking for a triangle but Cro Cop pushes his legs off easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hoffman is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cro Cop defends well.
Hoffman pushes a forearm under Cro Cop's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Cro Cop is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
