Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Whats Nutz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nutz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lynyrd Skynyrd - Simple Man . Steele is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Terminator Theme. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steele takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Steele circles away from the clinch attempt
and Steele counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Steele.
Steele throws a strike but Nutz rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Steele wants to sweep but no luck.
Nutz has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Steele is proving hard to escape from.

Nutz wants to stand but Steele is controlling his posture from full guard.

Steele is looking to sinch up a triangle. Nutz throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Steele's body to avoid the submission. Steele has instead reached around Nutz's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Steele arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
