Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Moss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blake Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moss kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Wild Thing. Brandon Moss has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brandon Moss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Blake Adams! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Lou da Vinci and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adams throws a nice looking combination but Moss bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Adams checks a leg kick nicely. Adams moves out of range of the leg kick from Moss. Moss throws a combination that misses and Adams makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Some wild striking there from Moss.
Adams lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Moss circles away quickly and effectively. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Adams lands a right hook to the body.
Moss misses with a body punch
and Moss takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Adams throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Moss counters with a good low kick that Adams was not able to check.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adams has his takedown stuffed and Moss counters with an inside leg kick. Moss swings for the body but Adams moves out of range.
Adams dives in and grabs Moss's left leg, looking for a takedown. Moss pushes down on Adams's head and hops out. Adams misses with a takedown attempt so Moss counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Brandon Moss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blake Adams. Moss throws and elbow that misses. Adams uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Moss's guard. Nice move by Adams! Moss manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Moss throws some wild stikes that Adams manages to avoid easily.

Moss controlling the position easily from mount. Moss lands a big elbow. Moss has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Adams wants to control but Moss is having none of it. Moss breaks from Adams's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moss sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Adams wants to try and get back to his feet. Moss lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Adams hang on? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Adams is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Moss controlling the pace for now. Moss lands a heavy elbow. Adams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moss. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moss with good strikes from the mount here! Adams tries to lock up and control but Moss gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The referee warns Adams that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Moss tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Moss prevents Adams from getting the reversal. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brandon Moss dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Moss throws a series of strikes that have Adams backpedaling.
Moss staying out of range there. Adams gets caught napping as Moss dives in and scores a takedown. Adams manages to retain guard. Moss throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Moss prevents Adams from getting back to his feet. Adams can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Moss controls the pace. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Moss accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Moss controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Moss looking to sit in guard and control but Adams gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Moss wants to stand and escape but Adams is having none of it. Moss tries to land a sweep but no joy. Brandon Moss overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Moss is working hard here to advance position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Adams thows a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Moss is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Adams keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Moss wants to free his trapped foot but Adams is holding on for dear life with his legs. Moss stalling. Moss throwing shots but Adams is blocking nicely. Moss perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moss wants to take a breather but Adams is having none of it. Adams has hold of Moss's hands but Moss slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Moss not landing any meaningful shots this time. Moss passes to full mount! Adams is trying desperately to improve position. Adams's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Moss avoids the attempt from Adams to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Moss misses with a head shot. Adams tries to hold on but Moss postures up. Moss lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Adams defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Moss. Moss tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brandon Moss dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Moss throws a right and a left that both miss. Adams throws a leg kick that is checked and Moss counters with a nice body shot. Moss looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Moss connects with a leg kick. Adams looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moss looks to land a combination but Adams avoids it well. Adams feints a jab promting Moss to slip. Adams then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Moss slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Adams throws a sloppy head kick and Moss counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Adams's guard now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adams keeping moving, preventing Moss from controlling successfully. Moss sitting in guard, not really doing much. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Moss is looking to work some ground and pound but Adams has wrist control. Adams looking for a sweep. Not yet Adams, not yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
We're going to have a standup here because Brandon Moss wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Adams tries for a takedown but Moss circles away easily and Moss counters with a stiff right hand. Moss avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Moss displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Adams. A decent looking cross lands there for Adams. Moss will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Adams swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Moss makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Adams lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Adams throws a series of punches but Moss moves out of range. Adams keeps the fight on the outside. Adams misses with a wild combination.
Adams throws a left and a right that both miss
and Moss counters with a three punch combo that has Adams backing up. Adams nods at Moss to acknowledge the strikes. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Adams throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Brandon Moss is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Sloppy strikes from Moss. Those never looked like landing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moss tries to score a power double leg takedown but Adams sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Moss somewhat. Brandon Moss is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Adams looks to land a combination but Moss avoids it well. Moss misses with a series of wild punches.
Adams pulls out of a head kick attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! Brandon Moss showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Moss, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
