Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Badass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyson Taylor looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyson Taylor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Badass! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taylor tries for a takedown but Badass circles away easily so Badass counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Badass wants to control from the top but Taylor keeps moving. Badass looking to sit in guard and control but Taylor gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Taylor is looking to work some ground and pound but Badass has wrist control. Taylor throws a strike but Badass rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Badass looks gassed! There's a bit of a scramble here and now Taylor is on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taylor sitting in guard, not really doing much. Badass trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Taylor works over Badass with some ground and pound from guard. Badass looking to control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Taylor is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Taylor pushing down on Badass's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Taylor looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Taylor looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Taylor is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Badass sees it coming and defends easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Taylor is looking to advance position but Badass won't allow it. Taylor takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taylor working over Badass with some ground and pound. Badass looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Taylor stalling. Badass has hold of Taylor's hands but Taylor slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Taylor with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Taylor looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Taylor is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Taylor content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Taylor looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Badass with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyson Taylor dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Taylor dives in and scores a takedown into Badass's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Taylor gets to his feet. Badass looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Taylor shoots in and drives through. Badass sprawls well. Badass shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Taylor as he avoids it easily. Taylor dives in and scores a takedown into Badass's guard. Taylor working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Taylor has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Badass not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Badass keeping moving, preventing Taylor from controlling successfully. Taylor looking to sit in guard and control but Badass gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Badass stopping the sweep attempt from Taylor. Badass trying to control but Taylor is working from the bottom. Taylor is pulling down on Badass's head. It's preventing any offense from Badass, at least for the moment. Tyson Taylor overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Badass trying to control but Taylor is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Taylor shoots and misses and Badass counters with a nice double leg into side control. Taylor won't be happy with that. Badass advances to mount. Taylor wants to hold on but Badass pushes him away. Taylor is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Badass landing strikes from the mount and Taylor is in trouble! Badass has control of Taylor's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Taylor regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Badass can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Taylor is looking to escape. Taylor is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Taylor is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Badass swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Taylor is now in Badass's guard. A big mistake from Badass there, giving up the dominant position! Taylor postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Taylor throwing strikes from guard but Badass blocks nicely. Taylor thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Taylor stands up from Badass's guard - Taylor perhaps looking for a knockout. Badass fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyson Taylor dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Taylor doesn't succeed with the takedown and Badass counters with a low kick, right behind Taylor 's knee. Taylor shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Badass counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Badass. Taylor keeping moving, preventing Badass from controlling successfully. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Taylor holds on and takes a little breather. Badass tries to stand but Taylor is controlling from the bottom. Taylor tries to land a sweep but no joy. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Badass wants to stand but Taylor has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Taylor wants to stand and escape but Badass is having none of it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Taylor shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Badass but Badass pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyson Taylor. That's going to take a lot out of him. Taylor misses with a takedown attempt and Badass counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Badass with the ground and pound but Taylor uses the opportunity to regain guard. Badass looking to sit in guard and control but Taylor gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Taylor connects with a couple of short punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Taylor trying to control the position from guard on top but Badass is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Badass has momentary wrist control but Taylor slips an elbow through the middle. Taylor sitting in guard here, content to control. Badass keeping full guard, as Taylor tries to pass. Taylor throws and elbow that misses. Badass uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Taylor's guard. Nice move by Badass! Taylor on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Taylor tries to get out of the position. Badass trying to control the position from guard on top but Taylor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taylor is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Taylor keeping full guard, as Badass tries to pass. Badass forces his way into half guard. Badass is looking to advance position but Taylor won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Badass seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Taylor does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Taylor moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Badass wants to control from the top but Taylor keeps moving. Badass looking to sit in guard and control but Taylor gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Taylor is looking to work some ground and pound but Badass has wrist control.
And that's the end of the fight! Billy Badass comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Taylor has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
